Task 2 – UCAS Statement

What are my plans for next September?

I’m going to carry on studying music. But I haven’t decided if I’m going to study at northbook college on an degree course or go to university. But I would like to stay close to home if I decide to go to university

However I’m also looking into the level 4 course

Why does this subject interest you?

Music has always been one of my main interests and passions and I have always strived to learn and develop my skills and understanding of music as much as possible in my free time. Having come from extremely musical family , music has always been a huge part of my life for example my brother in law is an DJ and he does loads of parties, weddings and any other special occasions. My mum, sister loves singing they go to karaoke most nights a week. And lastly I taught myself how to play the piano When I was nine years old. Also in one of my music lessons in year eight my teacher showed me the new drum kit is at my school just got and I wanted to learn how to play so I got drum lessons from year eight all the way till sixth form before I left for college. But now I found my passion for audio engineering so now I’m working super hard.

Why do you think you’re suitable for the course(s)?

I would be perfect for this course because I had 4 year of experience with Logic Pro x, two years of audio engineering during that two years I’ve work with so many different bands and I’ve also released an EP called sleep better on Apple Music by amuse

Do you have any particular skills and experience that will help you to succeed on the courses ?

Problem-solving over that last two year of me learning about music engineering I have came across load of technical problems for example not having any audio signal

Future Plans

My future plans are to apply to university studying audio engineering, I know I would like to stay local so I could go home each day and spend time with my family
